Winter Visit

WOW! It's CHRISTMAS!

OH MY GOODNESS!!

You'll NEVER guess who I got to see last night!

SANTA!! Yep..the big man himself! I was so excited....and I was being GOOD!

Me, Mom, Dad, Mimi and Grandpa all went out last night...shopping! They took me to a place I had never been before, called 'The Mall'. BOY were there lots and lots of people there! WOW! I had never seen so many people in one place in my life...matter of fact, I had never seen so many people!

Anyway..Mom & Dad told me we were going to see SANTA!!! I waited and I waited..cuz when we got there, Santa had gone to feed the reindeer. I guess they do have to eat huh?

We did some shopping and then finally stopped by where Santa was supposed to be..and I got to sit in Santa's empty chair. WOW..his chair is HUGE! and PURPLE!

After that we still had to wait a bit, so I played on the table and was still being sooooo good! I knew Santa was close by and I surely didn't want him to see me cry!

The time had finally arrived..Santa was back! OH YEAH! I was gonna get to see the big cheese!

Before I knew it, Mom had sat me down on the big mans knee! WOW!!

There I was..right there in Santa's lap! OHMYGOODNESS!

Wow..I can hardly believe it..ME & SANTA!! WOW!!
Christmas is only TWO days away! I'm sure Santa is gonna be busy if he has to bring toys to all those kids I saw in the mall that were waiting to sit on Santa's lap like I did! I wonder if they were all good too?

The Birds and Bee's of Christmas

This will be my first Christmas. Now, I had no clue about what Christmas was, but Mom & Dad sat down with me the other day and explained it all. Presents, food and .....SANTA! So let me share with you, the day I learned of the Birds and Bee's of Christmas.

First off, I got to help Mom wrap some presents.

I know I can do this!

You need paper right?

Woah! The paper attacked me!

How do you work this tape thingy??

Ohh I can't figure it out..so I'll just eat the tape!

Then, Mom made a cheesecake and she let me help clean up.

Then, Mom & Dad took me to my room and told me the story of Santa.
It was sounding real good at first..............

I was getting all excited about the presents..........

And then they told me..I had to be GOOD!

You're kidding me right??

But they assured me I had been good..WHEW! I almost got worried!

Then...I got worried again, matter of fact..I got downright scared. When they told me how Santa delivered the presents, it hit me.

BUT MOM......WE DON'T HAVE A CHIMNEY!!!! How's he supposed to get in!!! Ohmygawd..what do we do?!

Mom and Dad promised me he could get in, there was nothing to worry about....all in all..I'm not so sure about this Santa thing.....what do you think??

Special Lunches

Let's talk ok...
Almost every week, since I've been here, Mimi and my Mom go out to lunch once a week and of course, they take me along. First I was very young, and stayed in my chair. Next thing ya know, I was sitting on a lap and up to the table enjoying the people around me.

Well let me tell you something ...boy have I grown!
NOW..I sit in a restaurant highchair and eat the food there.

I've had so much fun and LOVE it when Mimi comes for our Lunch dates. We go different places each week, sometimes it's Mexican, Chinese or even Little Italy (Olive Garden) wherever it is I LOVE IT!

A busy week!

Wow..I think I'm gonna like it here! It's been a real busy time for me since I came into this world and it's looking better all the time!

My grandpa and grandma (My moms parents) and my aunt Leslie are visiting with me this week. They flew in last Friday and we've had a wonderful time since they've been here, lots of adventures!

Of course, this is still one of the things I do best, and that's nap! Here I am with my Gramps......

Mom told me we are planning to go tree hunting..the mighty family hunters will go out and hunt down a tree for our Christmas!

Awww! You're kidding me..tree hunting?? I know they are just joking with me right?

I was sure they were joking....

but, they were serious and I sure did get a kick out of the idea of going tree hunting, so we'll be off soon to do that very thing! WOW..my first tree hunting. I wonder if I'll have to be quiet and sneak up on it?

Saying Goodbye and hello!

Cat eyes!! Look at those shiney things behind me..WOW!!

Hi everyone! Well, I had to say goodbye to my Mimi this week. She was up to visit and help out a bit when I came into this world, now she has returned to South Carolina. I did get to drive to the airport with Mom & Dad though, AND we stopped and had lunch! It was my first 'lunch out' with everyone!!

I also had my first doctors appointment. All went well and I don't have to go back for 3 whole weeks!! I didn't even loose weight, I gained a few ounces!!
Mom dressed me up to go to the doc..tennis shoes and all! Take a look! My big cousin Amanda got me this outfit and it fit really well!

Here we are going into the 'Wings' place for my first lunch outing!

You can see what *I* did while everyone was eating! ANYtime is a good time for a nap!!

Before we went to lunch and the airport, Mom, Dad and Mimi took the opportunity to get some early Christmas photos! I got to put on my elf outfit!

Does this hat make me look too tall?? Aww shucks..I'm just jokin' with ya! The hat was a little tall though..so Mom opted for something different and we tried out one of my headbands.

I think I like the headband better, it looks good don't you think?

Of course, after this photo session I was pretty tired...can you tell?

So I piled up in one of my favorite spots and took a nice nap! Of course it's on Daddy's chest.

Well, that's pretty much been what I've done for the last few days. Oh yeah, we did take one more picture. Of all of us (cept the fur kids). Me, Mom and Dad. Take a look. Ohh..I'm the one in the stocking!
